Merser Rivers Trust and Groundwork will be hosting a balsam bash on the Micker Brook in Cheadle, meeting at Shiers Drive car park next to Brookfields Park at 11am on Saturday 19th June. Join us to learn more about invasive, non-native species (INNS) and to help reduce their spread along the Micker Brook and the surrounding area.
Book onto this volunteer session via the eventbrite page here.
This session is part of our Bee a Pollinator project which aims to reduce the spread of INNS in the Micker catchment, take back spaces for native plants, and encourage native plants which create a varied and stable food source for pollinators.
