Description

Join us to help Birkin Brook Fly Fishers to carry out habitat improvement work on the Peover Eye.

The work we are undertaking involves clearing parts of the riverbank and overhead trees to allow more light to reach the river and make the water more accessible. Tools will be provided. We will meet at the Church car park at the Hall at Peover (near the Hall and Stables) at 10.00am.

The session is outdoors so make sure you have waterproofs and sun protection as needed. Bring lunch and your own work gloves if you have them, and please wear suitable outdoor clothing and bring extra layers. Long trousers and sleeves are recommended!

Wellies are required as part of this work will take place in the river. If you are not comfortable entering the river, there will be plenty of work available on the river bank.

Waders would also be useful if you have them. If you would like to borrow waders please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your shoe size and we may be able to lend you some.
