Description

Join us for an autumn wellbeing walk to learn all about fantastic fungi!

Led by expert guide David Winnard of Discover the Wild, we will be exploring the woods of the Quarry Bank estate to learn about fungi identification. Enjoy a mindful walk along the River Bollin in a beautiful autumn woodland setting and learn about the amazing mushrooms that emerge at this magical time of year.

This event will run from 1:30pm-3:30pm and we will be meeting at the estate car park.

This event is not suitable for those of limited mobility as the walking route will include lots of steps, features steep woodland paths and will likely be muddy.

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Long trousers and sleeves are recommended! The session is outdoors so make sure you have waterproofs, warm layers and/or sun protection as needed. Please also make sure you bring enough water and food to keep you going throughout the activity.
