Description

It's been a warm and wet winter so we can expect giant hogweed to come up strong this year. We'll be working with landowners and volunteers all Spring to control it along the length of the River Bollin. For this session on 10th March we'll be digging out plants where the giant hogweed coverage isn't too dense before they become large.

Giant hogweed can be dangerous if it comes into contact with skin and all protective equipment for this session will be provided. We'll also provide hot drinks and biscuits. Please wear wellies and appropriate clothes for the weather. There is space to park next to the playground on Belgravia Gardens.
