Join us in installing leaky dams (human beavers) as a natural flood management scheme around Stockport to help control water flow.

Meet us at 10.00 am at Torkington Park, Buxton Road, Stockport, SK7 6AD. Parking is available in the car parks.

We will dig into the river banks, move logs, and install posts to create leaky dams. This is a physical activity that requires you to be physically fit enough to lift and carry 20kg safely.

This is a weather-dependent activity (if it's snowing or icy). Work boots/ wellies are required, as are water bottles, suitable clothing, and lunch; other PPE items will be provided.

There are facilities on-site and a café nearby which you are more than welcome to use.
